Some Sizzling Poetry For The Soul The Chimney Sweeper A little black thing among the snow, Crying " 'weep! 'weep! in notes of woe! Where are thy father and mother,
say? They are both gone up to the church to pray. Because I was happy upon the heath, And smiled among the winter's snow, They clothed me in the clothes of death, And taught me to sing the notes of woe.
And because I am happy and dance and sing, They think they have done me no injury, And are gone to praise God and his Priest and King, Who make up a heaven of our misery. William Blake How do I love Thee? How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. I love thee to the level of every day's Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight. I love thee freely,
as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise. I love with a passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints,
I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life! and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death. Elizabeth Browning Because I Could Not Stop For Death Because I could not stop for Death— He kindly stopped for me— The Carriage held but just Ourselves— And Immortality. We slowly drove—

We passed the Setting Sun— Or rather— He passed Us— The Dews drew quivering and chill— For only Gossamer, my Gown—
My Tippet— only Tulle— We paused before a House that seemed A Swelling of the Ground— The Roof was scarcely visible— The Cornice— in the Ground—
Since then— 'tis Centuries— and yet Feels shorter than the Day I first surmised the Horses' Heads Were toward Eternity— Emily Dickinson Post your fav. poems in my comments section! PS:
6 more days until my journey, kind of got bored of thinking last night. Just had a mind overload lately i guess cause i was like bored of thinking and was like lets just talk about mindless things instead of going indepth into death, life, and much more. For some reason the talks with my best bud in Germany (
Sandra) have been about death, but just because i've been thinking a lot about life and with that obviously comes the topic of death.
