Road to war? I don't tend to wax and wain politically but doesn't whats going on with Iraq at least bother you? To tell you the truth, it kind scares me. So we don't have the support of the UN behind us, does that mean we should back down? What if Sadam is really a threat and a couple of months down the road he does try to use chemical, biological, or even nuclear warfare on us, Israel or anyone else. On the other hand he may not be a threat and this is all just politics as usual, i.e. bullshit posturing to bring a illusion of strength and decency to the U.S.
The fact that the German Chancel or has rebuked us for wanting to take out Sadam should be some sort of sign that if we do enter a war with Iraq we will not have the support that we had the first time around. Vietnam seemed like a good idea at first but look what it did to our nation and our trust in our government.
We need Ms. Cleo to tell us the future. Hell, I'd pay $5.99 a minute to see what we should and shouldn't do Your part Do you support our leaders, granted politicians tend to be greedy back stabbers(a prerequisite I do believe) but would you support them and their decisions for our country??? Did you vote yesterday? State party lines seem to be so unaffectual to some people but just exercising your right to vote is something that I will never ever forget to do. I feel you can't complain about government/taxes/well fare ect. unless you voted because to me that just makes it seem moot when people bitch about something they could've had a say in.
