hello everybody. Well let's see what's going on...two days ago my sister had her high school graduation. All in all it was a very nice day. It took the whole day but it was an interesting experience to see the youngest at a ceremony which effectively ended her high school education.
The strangeness I'll comment on when I have more time. Today is the day where all Canadians over the age of 18 with federally issued identification may go and express their appathy. That's right it's federal election time once again. You know, I have a question. Myabe one of you can answer this for me. Unlike the states, we here don't vote for the individual, we vote for the party. Whomever is the party leader in the riding does the running, and whomever gets the most seats becomes prime minister. So far straight forward. So why is it that in Canada for all the campaign promisses that are strewn around, all of the candidates say "I will...I am...I had..." Kinda busy right now so I won't be able to get on my rant about the whole political system and climate in Canada. I'll save that rant for a later date. sf
