middle child syndrome here's a little background on my childhood...5 girls and 1 guy. no brothers, 3 sisters, one older, the twins younger and a mom and dad.
yep that's my family. we are one big happy family... the majority of the time but like all familes, we had problems...hmm..and what could that be?? ?..yep..me..i had the middle child syndrome. looking back, i really think i made more mistakes than the average teenage. you wouldn't believe half the things i did and got away with and the other half that i got busted for but i'm taking those secrets to my grave. hey..kids will be kids. anywhoo, i always got yelled at, always got in trouble, and i always rebelled. i was such a brat. i can admit that now. but you know what the funny thing is, everyone at school thought i was the sweetest person, the most innocent of them all..i even got selected as sweetest personality for my highschool yearbook. haha..what a joke. k..don't get me wrong..i'm not a meany but i don't really think anyone really knew the real me except for my family. they saw me at my worst, they saw the spark in me die, they saw the blank stares in my eyes, they saw the turmoil in the pit of my stomach, and they saw me grasping for air. and no matter how much i hurt them with my actions, they were always there for me and i know they always will be and vice versa.
this is hard for me to admit but i'm gonna suck it up and let it out..i think the reason i made so many mistakes not just because i was ignorant but because i was jealous...jealous of who you ask..well my sisters. here's the scoop..my older sister..smart as hell..valadictorian of her highschool, never got in trouble, always obeyed the rules, went to UCSD, never a disappointment.
my younger sisters..well..they are twins..that should explain it all but i'll elaborate anyways. being twins..you have instant attention, plus they were the babies in the family and they're super cute. and that leaves me..the middle child..not the smartest, not the cutest, and definitely not the one to follow rules. i guess the only way i thought i could shine was to make my parents life miserable..at least i got their attention right?
heehee..jk..yeah i was an attention seeking brat. but i don't blame my parents...they loved us all the same...even though now i call myself their favorite..haha. so that's my story of my middle child syndrome. maybe now you all will understand me a little better and give me all the attention i need. you guys can even spoil me..i don't mind..not at all. haha :-) have a wonderful day everyone! *wink*
