There are a lot of "Shape of Things" fans out there... I personally hated the play of it we saw (sorry Amy Price-Francis...
I like Train48 though...) except for the excellent Allan Hawco. But get this, the movie version was a top prize winner at the Sundance Film Festival, which is annually put on by Robert Redford, father to Amy Redford who starred in the Canstage production of TSOT... creepy eh? I never really liked Neil Labute that much. [excerpt from a theatre class] Horkins: Well... then... then Neil Labute is just a crappy playwrite!
Hoodie: Yeah, sure Chris, and that's why he's only the hottest new playwrite in New York... ah... the memories. Oh yeah, school is over! I played my first summer round of Golf at Rosedale today and shot my best score this year (or maybe ever, I have to check) at 108... I know it's not that good but it's good for me. I'll be doin the golf camp thang next week, always good times. then I'm off to real camp! Okay, this is the last music list for a while... The Top 6 Hottest Hip-Hop Collaborations Ever! 1. The Realest N****s (remix)- Notorious BIG feat 50 Cent and Eminem 2. Still D.R.E.- Dr. Dre feat. Snoop Dogg 3. Thugz Mansion (acoustic version)- 2Pac feat Nas 4. Guilty Conscience- Eminem feat.
Dr. Dre 5. Magic Stick- Lil Kim feat 50 Cent 6. Ain't it Funny (remix)- J.Lo feat Ja Rule and others explanations: 1. If you thought it was a hot track with just Biggie and 50, wait till eminem busts in after 3 minutes with a whole 'nother 2 verses!
2.
A classic track. Dre and Snoop back together again. Great rhymes, you know the words its so good.
3.
Off of the better dayz double album after his passing, this song is not only one of the ultimate chillin' rap tunes, but also has a deep and profound message which is made more powerful since his death. And Nas is there too... 4. The hottest new rapper collaborating with his seasoned veteran mentor in one of the best storytelling tunes ever created. Very contraversial. And it gave Eminem a lot of cred.
5.
This track is hot. Great beat.
It won the "big beat battle" on the former Kiss 92 (RIP) on May 2-4 weekend beating out favourite "in da club" also by 50. Great rhymes, great beat... and would you listen to those lyrics?
6.
Okay okay, I know what you're sayin'... Ja Rule is quite the "wanksta" but I want to represent all genres of Hip Hop on this list and Hip "pop" is one of em. This is however a great track, even Ja's Murder Inc no name buddy (Caddy? ) has some good rhymes.
Overall it's a great track. My final order of business is this. As you know I'll be away for most of the month of July starting on June 25th. And I was thinking that I shouldn't just leave the blog without an administrator. So I got to thinking... I should grant one lucky member of the blog administrator powers during my abscence. I could give it to bish because he's so toight and threw a heckuva jam. I could give it to Hudson because he's such a fly guy with his Phoenix gear. I could give it to JROC because he really was the first guy, other than me or that little post by Will Dick, to join the blog. I could give it to Cooplander... because... he'd tan the blog (it is kinda pale huh...). I could give it to Spence because he kinda won the dopeness poll.
I could give it to Katie because the blog would have collective poon (Ashley) shivers. I could give it to C-dog because I spend so much time at his house. I could give it to Farouk cause he's brown... or I could not give it to him... for the same reason. Or I could give it to the blogger who writes the craziest application to me using the feedback system... lying is encouraged. i'm out
