Well, I made it to Orlando Monday afternoon around 1pm. It was my first time flying anywhere, so it was interesting. I didn't get sick or anything. Some Campus Crusade staff picked Darian and I up at the airport, and we went to a local church to get registered for the project. After registration, we were taken to our condos. They are really nice! I can't believe they are actually letting us stay there. Our condo has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There will be six people staying there, so two people to a room. We have been doing so many activities since we have been here. There are about 50 or 60 students doing the project, so I am having trouble remembering everyone's name. We were split into groups of three called Core Groups, which are led by a Campus Crusade staff member.
Two of these Core Groups will meet every week to have a Bible study. We had our first one the other night. Most of the other activities so far have been some kind of orientation or something to help us get to know everyone here. Saturday we will be doing a car wash outreach. I started work on Wednesday. They gave us a tour of the Crusade Headquarters, and this place is sweet!
It's so big, alot bigger than it looks in the pictures! I would definately suggest visiting if you are ever in the Orlando area. I will be working in the computer services department for the web consulting team. I think I am going to love working here. Everyone is so friendly. Well, I guess that's about all I have to say for now.
