The Power Of Sleep I didn't sleep well again, I was up and down a few times last night, but I did finally sleep for a decent amount of time. I think I finally fell asleep around 4am, and I stayed down until 1pm, although I'd been mostly awake since Noon. It wasn't straight sleep during that time, I was in and out of sleep as usual, but it was enough, I guess.
I am up and getting some things done finally, which is a nice change. I did two loads of laundry (so far) and took a much-needed shower, more than I've done in days. I think I'm going to go play guitar for awhile and then and clean my room, more much-needed stuff.
It's amazing how much a little sleep helps. I don't feel like I'm running on empty now, struggling to move at all, but I don't feel like I'm running on a full tank of gas either (more like 1/8 tank). One good solid night of sleep should help me out a great deal. I am going to take some Melatonin tonight, so hopefully that'll do the trick. We shall see. A new Hendrix CD came out today, "Jimi Hendrix: Live At Berkeley (The Second Set)", his full second performance from the Berkeley Community Theater from May 30th, 1970 (one of my favorite shows), completely remastered!
Another new one came out last week, "Martin Scorsese Presents The Blues: Jimi Hendrix", which has 2 unreleased tracks on it. I'm hoping to get them both tonight, if I can get a ride up to Best Buy. If not tonight, then tomorrow for sure. Things are looking up.
