Over break I've realized that I can no longer read. There's something wrong with my eyes, I'm convinced. I've never been to an optometrist in my life and I always got the chart right at the doctor's. But when I try to read my eyes unfocus or something and it gets all blurry.
I used to be able to semi-speed read by reading phrases or sentences by themselves instead of just word by word but I can't do it anymore. So I've resorted to slowly reading the Cliffs Notes on Le Morte D'Arthur and watching hours upon hours of Buffy every day. Yesterday I watched two hours from seven to nine in the morning ("Ted" and "Bad Eggs"), then one on tape around two ("Hushed"), and then two more hours from four to six in the evening ("Surprise" and "Innocence"). And today, since there's not an episode on until eleven, I downloaded the last episode of the series, "Chosen", and watched it twice. I'm going to start taping the ones that are on when I'm in school and then watching them and the two in the evening in a four-hour long Buffy Mini Marathon while I do my homework. It's a good thing.
