Cache Creek On Saturday, I went to Cache Creek with my mom. We were supposed to go to Reno, but ended up going here instead.
I didn't mind, since it was a closer drive for me. For the first time, I actually didn't gamble, because of my trip to NY on Wednesday...and losing my NY spending money was not an option! I did see my grandparents there, and they gave me $20 to play. I decided to keep it instead, so I came home $20 richer!
My mom won, too! Cache Creek is in the process of building new things, such as a new hotel, an 18 hole golf course, more parking space, and another brand new casino to double its current size! Vacaville Outlets On the way home, we passed by the Vacaville Outlets. Oh boy, I love outlets! I bought myself a new pair of casual shoes! I love finding good deals, esp. named brand items for cheap!
We were only there for 3 hours, which is not long enough to spend at outlets! Outlet shopping is definitely a full day's activity, not a few hours. Sunday Mass Went to Church at St. Anne's w/ my family on Sunday. We got there late, 12:05pm, and had to stand in the back. My family can never get to Church early, no matter how much I try, rushing them, or making everyone get ready earlier...we're always late! Filipino time is definitely frustrating at times! Rude or Acceptable? Is it rude to get change from the donation basket? I saw someone do that today. Dropped in a twenty, and took a ten. I didn't mind it since they were still giving a donation. Plus I think I actually did that once. All Star Game Great game! Going into double over time was exciting.
I'm glad the West won! Smell of Fresh Grass That's how I smell because I cut the front lawn today! I actually enjoying pushing the lawn mower around and inhaling the scent of fresh cut grass. My favorite part is starting up the lawn mover...pulling that motor cord to start the engine! I love it when I get it started on the first pull, and hearing the engine go. My family finally got a gas powered mover when we moved to Union City.
We used to have an electric one back in DC, and I hated mowing the lawn back then. It required dragging an extension cord around, which was a pain...and I actually mowed over the cord once. And our old mower spit out the grass to the side as it cut, which required raking! If you get a lawn mower, get a gas powered one. I guess the same goes for RC cars, I hear. Hmmm..I guess I'll never get an electric vehicle. New York!
I'm looking forward to my trip on Wednesday. I fly back Sunday night, but since Olivia has a holiday on Monday, I'm going to check if I can stay an extra day and extend my flight! I hope it doesn't cost too much to do so.
