From the archives Monday, August 11, 2003: Another year, another tumultuous weekend of crazy choristers. And now most are gone (soon to be all) - and nothing has changed here. I suppose it's the magic of the mountains, but it changes anyone who will listen to their call. Everything drops into perspective. I suppose my greatest fear is that I'll lose that perspective yet again, swapping it for the BS the rest of the world guzzles as fuel.
Or maybe it's that I worrry over how long it will be before I can find that perspective again. For now, everything fits. And the best part is that I can be friends with the unknown, not enemies with it. For now, I am centered. And tomorrow will have to wait its turn. Till next time, I'm Ehren Anybody who was there knows exactly what I was talking about. I wish it wasn't so easy to slip.
