In T-minus however many minutes, I'll be back on the road to Columbia. I'm happy and a little sad. I like it here. But I like it there. And I'm excited to listen to the Rolling Stones CDs I got for my birthday (we had a little 1 1/2-week early celebration yesterday) from my parents. So it will be a good drive. We went to 11th Street Precinct with the Gang last night and saw the urlLink Sin City Orchestra play.
They were awesome. As was the man who would smack his pelvis and then thrust it repeatedly. He looked like George Costanza's dad. But I learned that a petite woman lit up on two martinis (with her own olives from her purse, naturally) knows a lot more about love and life than an almost-22 year old drinking Smirnoff Ice. Maybe it's the olives. Maybe it's because she brought her own glass. Whichever the case, she helped a lot.
