Waiting for my hair to dry.... It's 4.50 in the morning and I'm waiting for my hair to dry before I go to sleep. Norah Jones is singing in the background, and I'm feeling clean and smelling good. Ahh, c'est la vie . Another day has gone. Came back from a so-so clubbing outing.
Sigh. The golden age of clubbing is coming to an end. We had our pre-dinner drinks at Devil's Bar. Happy Hour was from 5pm to 8pm and you can get 3 mugs/jugs of Tiger beer for the price of 1. Bhavish got himself the beer at $9.50. He finished all 3 mugs by himself without puking.
That guy drinks like a fish. I was happy with my virgin colada, albeit, a very tangy virgin colada. Went back to his place for dinner. Heh, parents bought Burger King for us. After which a pre-clubbing session was in order. Listened and grooved to music in his room while he read his cases.
Tonight's clubbing destination: Devil's Bar again. We got our chops during happy hour so we did not have to pay again. Place was full of NS people. Crowd was friggin' young. Don't know how they all got in since security was very anal about IDs. Our trash was played sparingly.
No surprises there. Dj in the dance room played alot of bad remixes. We weren't there very long. Live room was a bit better. Band played our usual trash. Dj must have used to work at Zouk on Mambo nights cos there was a mambo phase.
By 1.30, we were bored. Went out for cheap-o drinks at the nearby 7-11. Ahh.. convenient stores are the greatest. Bought a huge drink and chips and sat down at the bus stop for a midnight snack. After pigging out, went back into Devil's bar to get my bag out of the locker. Took a walk to Hard Rock, but the place was empty.
Strange. It's the end of the clubbing world as we know it. SN buses are fantastic. The nice uncle dropped me off in front of my bus stop again. A long hot shower was needed to rid myself from all that smoke in Devil's Bar. The crowd may have thinned, but the amount of smoke was still the same.
And here I am... Waiting for my hair to dry.
