I'm Not Dead But thankfully the Creed, as a band, is. God, I disliked them to no end. And the lead singers attempt to equate the band with Led Zepplin! Blasphemy. Though, looking at it now, maybe there is a God. On 895 quadrillionth day, God killed Creed and saw it was good.
I'm not dead. I feel happy. Note that that isn't great or superb, just happy. I've settled into the new locale, and while it's not to Damon's or my liking, we're getting by. We've made it cozy for now. I'm without DSL for a little while, which hampers my online presence, hence the sporadic posting this past week. According to Verizon, that could change as soon as Tuesday, but that depends on which customer service rep I talked to.
I'm seriously considering just up and dropping them for good. Oh, that a move to Chicago could change that and so much more. That's the plan now because the city has a larger house scene for Damon and newspapers for me. The question is how soon until the move happens? It seems the journalism field is picking up here in the Philadelphia area, as I recently submitted my resume to a newspaper that actually had an opening.
So any job I'm going through here will be financing the move to Chicago. This is brief, as the dial-up experience drives me nutty. That and urlLink Clean Recordings has officially relaunched, with product showing in several Philly area retailers... Now that might be what finances the move! It's been keeping me pretty busy, with a slight revamp of the site, promoting, invoicing, designing, etc. etc. Ciao until Tuesday!
