Coffee count: XXX filling in the blanks Hmm I have not posted for more than a week!!! Does this means I have lost the will to blog?
Will it be another flash in the pan fad for me? Well I hope not. It is just that I have not found any pressing issues to talk about and I think people have had enough "what I did today" blogs on the net nowadays.
Some of the things that I really would like to see being discussed by the Malaysian public (blogs, newspaper, TV etc..) would be: 1. The quest of Datukship or those emblems on the cars number plates 2. Civic consciousness among the Malaysian public (driving and parking attitude especially) For the first issue, some questions I would like answered is why is there an obsession of getting a Datukship or at least know one? It seems that we have become a nation of idolising people with status and thus everyone want to become one (people of status).
Don't get me started on all those emblem you see on cars on the road nowadays. It seems that these people wanted to show to everyone that they are important or wanted people to think that they are. is RM1 too expensive for a parking fee? That is what one shopping complex is charging for parking at their premises.
But I still see that there are still quite a lot of people that are either too lazy or to kedekut (stingy) to pay even RM1 for parking. They parked at the roadside when it is clearly indicated that it is a no parking zone. Some of the cars parked are not you average Proton, some are Mercedes/BMW cars. I guess that is how those people manage to own a Merc/BMW, you save on parking fee.
