This should really be a topic I care not talk about but I find myself doing it anyway. Girls today, what is up with them. Either they think there shit does not stink or they are weird, ya know like your 80 plus cat owner. Ran into a 16 year old girl yesterday that got attitude with me for one reason or another and had your potty mouth in front of her pops. Now sure, I have the potty mouth, but I have enough respect to not speak that way in front of the parents.I actually asked her if that was her father in front of her, and she replied with her snotty "I know all the answers" tone "YES", followed by the whole head roll. I replied "and your talking like that to him"? Then she proceeded to get back into the car as I realized that this girl that has bites for her tops and barely hair on her legs, is wearing what I saw in flip me and sex me magazine the other day. I went ahead and told her that she also needed to put some clothes on while she was at it. She was like 15 or 16 years old, ok, ok, I know if there is grass on the field you can play on it, but give me a break.
As I pulled away and drove the rest of the way home I started to think to myself about how OLD I must have seemed to her, heh. Even though I am no short of 24, I must have seemed like her mothers best friend. I just think that times have changed and you don't need to show every inch of skin while you are going to the library.Leave things to the imagination, ok, now I seem old.But then again, how mature was I by proceeding to get out of the car to whoop her ass?
(someone needed to show her) My new co-worker turns out to be from around Dallas. We were doing the simple chat today and she mentioned that her husband was working for a very good company and was laid off. He was laid off due to Out-sourcing, yup you got it, cheaper wages, so why not. They had to move back here and now he makes 30,000 less than he had, and now she is working.
Mind you that she is working my old job that I knew I didn't make enough money. I felt bad, and will feel bad for those who are caught up in the "we will replace you for someone who will work for 50 cents an hour". There goes all the good quality ways of life, and every one starts looking at the "made in America" stickers on products a little more closely. Once again time will repeat itself. People take it to heart when people cant learn from their mistakes on a daily basis, but world wide, its just passable, what gives?
I had watched a special on 60 min or something like that a month or so ago about out-sourcing to India. When you call customer service and you think you are calling down the street, you are really calling someone in India. They even have classes that they take for them to speak better english, is it to trick us, or to make us feel more comfortable on the phone, humm.
Then i heard them speaking about the same subject today at lunch on NPR. How about the news just being plain scary in these days anyway. I have to work my second job tonight, yeah for me, but will be off tomorrow. Had some nasty storms come thru here last night and did some nice damage to some of our parks, and now i have to deal with insurance. Need to take more pictures and get familer with the camera better. Need a sno-cone and a good book. Need to get some painting done, and need to play on the playstation ( i sound like Thomas, ha ) Till then my reading friends....
