I have been reading this guy's humorous column for approximately four hours now, and after all that readin', I feel like writing. So here I am, doing just that. Lately, Louie has been talking about how awesome LiveJournal is. He preached to me about how easy it is to use, and he even showed me this little downloadable program that you can use to update your journal straight from your desktop within seconds. I'm glad that he's so excited about LiveJournal, but it's not exactly the best invention since the microwave. I happen to like Blogger. It's easy to use and it gets the job done; what more could you want from a friggin online journal? I don't care to express the current mood i'm in, or tell everyone what song i'm currently listening to. (What if i'm not listening to music, did anyone ever think of that? ) And best of all, with Blogger, you don't have to waste your time reading 75 incoherent, badly written comments from some assholes who won't even leave their names. What good could possibly come from some random butt faced punker (or anyone else for that matter) giving me their two cents about what I write? I sure can't think of any. And even if you can think of something, you can't tell me about it on my journal.
So call me a hypocrite, tell me i'm wrong, tell me I made ten thousand grammar and spelling errors in this post, but do it somewhere else, because I don't care what anyone else has to say about my writing. And that, my friends, is the beauty of Blogger . Did I mention that the user interface has just recently been rebuilt from the ground up and is now undeniably sexy? Or that everything loads much faster than ever before? Or that there are new features galore and the sky is now the limit since Blogger has been bought out by Google ?
Oh yes, it is all true. I urge everyone to quit using that pesky LiveJournal or any other means of having an online journal type thing, and start using Blogger today. There is nothing to lose, because it's totally free! All the cool people use it, like me and Jesseca! Yay! That was quite a rant for a topic about something that I normally wouldn't even pretend to support.
I guess that's what eight days of not writing anything more than my little scribbles on post-it notes will do to me. Oh yeah, and Blogger , i'm expecting my endorsement check in the mail anyday now. (Seriously. ) I'm gonna go try to watch Harvard Man now. The last time two times i've tried to watch it I fell asleep a little more than halfway through. That's probably a bad sign, but on the brighter side, I now know why I only paid $5.88 for it.
