What's the difference between today and tommorow? It seems to me that they are lightyears apart. Let me explain. Today is a day of mostly sitting and waiting, because tommorow, as it turns out, is when all the action starts. You're probably wondering what action i'm talking about...Well I'll tell ya. First of all, we have final exams in two out of my four classes, Geometry and U.S. History. Neither of those really matter though since my grades are all but locked up. I have an A in History, since that test is gonna be a cakewalk for a History buff like me.
Geometry, however, is a whole other story. I have a D in there right now and it's most definitely gonna stay that way because even if I get a 100 on the exam (which is 15% of our grade) I can't raise my grade up to a C. So that just goes to show you how bad I have it with that class, but at least i'm passing.
And before you go calling me dumb and all that you need to realize that I have A's and B's in all my other classes, it's just that I fucking hate my geometry teacher, you don't even know how much I do. It just goes to show you how much of a turd she is, making an intelligent kid like me nearly fail her class because of her immature and annoying antics. Enough ranting though, i'm making it seem like I actually care, when I am so far from caring. To finish off this subject, after going to 1st and 2nd block Thursday to take the finals in those classes, school will be done for 2 WEEKS! (two weeks, two weeks?). And it could not have came at a better time, I am so friggin schooled out it's not even funny.
I don't know how much longer I could have gone on without a break, ahhh...Back to the main topic, the second thing I am waiting for is The Two Towers of course! This movie is gonna be awesome, the second movie in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the first one was probably my favorite movie of all time.
I can't wait to see it man, I already read some insane reviews for it, saying it's everything they expected and much more, muahaha. Some gook (coughZACcoughcough) told me that it came out today and got all excited, I was gonna go see it right when I got home, but I realized he was just being dumb. I knew I shouldn't have believed him though, I'm like never wrong and I knew it was coming out on Wednesday, but anyways...it's gonna rock.
The third and final thing I am awaiting is Nintendo's upcoming "megaton" announcement. Here's the scoop: A long time ago, about two months or so, there was a report(most likely a rumor) that Nintendo was planning on releasing an announcement of "megaton" proportions sometime in December. The time passed by without any news of it, and now that it's December websites are again reporting that Nintendo will annouce it very soon, as in today. Even CBS/CNN reported on it this time, sort of making it not just a rumor anymore. I've been looking on websites all day for some sort of news but I was told that it won't actually be on any sites until tommorow, because it takes so long to update the sites.
So naturally, I am eager to hear what the hell the announcement is about, because "megaton" means frickin HUGE....And yes I'm aware that this list started leaning towards extreme geekiness in the last two things, hehe. But nevertheless, my mood is one of great anticipation, whether it be of my final exams, The Two Towers, the "megaton" announcement, or the massive amounts of fun that i'm going to have over this christmas break.
A couple of interesting things did happen today though...There's this large Italian kid that everyone was talking about today who said his dad was in the movie "The Godfather". So me being the hardcore skeptic that I am wigged the fuck out about his dad not being in the Godfather. Besides, what are the chances? I mean, just because the kid is italian doesn't mean his dad was in the Godfather, and I had plenty of reasons to believe he wasn't. Like: That movie is really old and my dad would be like 12 when it came out, so his dad must be pretty old if he was in it. The kid is crazy, and he could just be lying, because that's like saying my grandpa is in fuckin Gone With the Wind or something, its crazy, implausible, ya know? Well it turns out that this motherfucker wasn't lying, his dad really is in the Godfather, I checked the credits and it says his name right on there. He showed me right? That's what you would think, but frankly, I don't give a damn, since I was arguing mostly for the sake of arguing.
It was funny anyways, I got a good laugh out of it. From now on I'm gonna tell everyone that my dad is in Scarface, because he's Cuban. Or better yet, my dad is Al Pacino himself, lol....But that's not all folks, I made yet another discovery today: Slayer fuckin rocks!!!! They are about as hardcore as it gets and they know how to rock the fuck out. I had never heard any of their music before and they simply blew me away, blew me out of the water, they can play some of the awesomest guitar riffs i've heard. And I dig their lyrical style, as cheesy as it may be. They sing about "DEATH TO YOUR SOUL, BANISH THE DEVIL BLAHHHHH!!!! ", you know what i'm talkin about. If anyone wants to know how to start a hard-core band, they should listen to Slayer, that's all i'm gonna say. Now I'm gonna go finish watching my movie, it's called The Beast Within, or some shit. I rented it on friday but I haven't watched it yet, but it started off pretty cool.
So far some chick got raped by a beast, she got pregnant (she thought by her husband), and had a kid. Now she's just finding out, when the kid's all old that the kid is starting to mutate into this beastly creature and murder everyone. That's all that happened so far, and I'm like 5 minutes into it, so it should be tight. You would think I would be studying right now with all these final exams coming up, but nope, my no studying policy remains in place. p.s. I was just thinking about it and I realized this post was long, boring, and pointless. Totally without humor I might add, but meh, I laugh at the fact that it's trash, lol.
