What a messed up day it is today. After all, it is the first day of school after a four day weekend, so that's to be expected... Everything's going normal right, I wake up and get ready for school as usual. Except today i'm not tired in the least, so it's even better than most days. Since i'm up and going before schedule I have time to eat breakfast, which of course is pizza and soda.
I get to school early, and I have plenty of time to get to class, now that is a miracle. I get out of the car and start walking to first block when I hear my dad yell my name from back inside the truck..."oh shit" I think, "what's wrong? " My dad then informs me that i've forgotten my backpack. I was relieved, that is no big deal. So I look around the truck and my backpack is nowhere to be found, I laugh and tell him that I left it at home. He laughs in return, but it's more of a forced one. I get in the truck expecting to have to go all the way back home to get my backpack, but my dad says otherwise. He tells me to just go to class and he'll bring it in a few minutes. It was kind of a weird suggestion, but it made no difference to me.
Either way I was doing no work, so I was just like alright. It crossed my mind that he might have a hard time finding my backpack, but I dismissed it as a small problem. I was right, if only for a second. I get to class and basically just sit there for the first thirty minutes, pretending to do my work. And if you're anything like me, you know that acting like you're doing your work is a very funny/ crazy thing to do. I've never gotten caught doing this, but if you did what would you say? "Uhhh, i'm just moving my hand across my paper as if I was writing something with a pencil, but nothing is actually being written because I have no pencil. " According to my calculations, I believe that would make you about a 900 out of 55 on the kook scale. During my time without my backpack, I realized how much I take having the right materials for school for granted. You never fully appreciate a pencil or a piece of paper until you don't have one. This is reminiscent of the 1980's rock hit "You don't know what you got, till it's gone" by the great hair band Cinderella .
After about a half an hour of doubtful waiting, that seemed like forever, some crazy lookin lady walks in carrying my backpack. I don't even have time to celebrate before I realize that my dad has brought me the wrong backpack. This lady was carrying my Magic backpack. At this time, it felt like I had just entered the craziest, most awkward situation ever. So now I have a bunch of Magic cards...not really what I needed, but thanks. Does anyone else feel sorry for my dad, because I do.
The poor guy had to deal with my bullshit and go all the way back to our house to retrieve my backpack, he still has to go to work mind you. Then he picks up the wrong one and brings me my Magic cards. That really sucks. He's lucky i'm not an asshole, or I might bitch him out for bringing me the wrong thing. Enough about my dad though, i'm the one that's screwed here. On top of having a backpack full of Magic cards and the fact that I don't like to admit that I play Magic, I just found a knife in the front pocket of my backpack, greaaaaaaaat. Besides that potential mess of trouble, what am I supposed to do the rest of the day without my stuff?
Nothing? For the rest of this class I guess i'm just gonna sit here and do just that. Beyond that though, there are two possibilities. I am either getting a ride home from Louie or Zac, or i'm walking home. I'm leaning more towards walking home. Not only because it's likely that no one will want to drive me that far, but also because it will be fun.
I didn't want to go to school today anyway, and now I can just play some games or something. There is one thing that is tempting me to come back to school after I go home: I am wearing a crazy/ cool outfit today and I want to show it off. I have on my usual O' Niell sweater on, which is always cool. Then I have these green punkerish jeans on that I think are pretty cool but I never wear. I also have a white shirt on underneath my sweater, but I consider that a small detail since I don't plan on taking my sweater off anytime soon.
I have this little heart bracelet on my wrist that I stole from my sister's friend. That's obviously one of the funnier things about my ensemble, and I wanted to see what people said to this girliness/gayness. The funniest thing of all, perhaps, is the chain wallet that hangs from my belt buckle and rests in my side pocket. I haven't worn one of these since like fourth grade, and to tell the truth it feels kind of cool.
This is probably due to the fact that nobody wears these anymore besides crazy punkers, and I like doing things that nobody else does. The wallet is pretty funny too, it's one of those three fold ones and my money barely fits in it so it's all fat and I laugh. Plus nothing beats the combination of chains and leather(in case I didn't mention it before, the wallet is leather). Now the random ass fucker busts in with his two cents: "ACTUALLY EVERYTHING BEATS THE COMBINATION OF CHAINS AND LEATHER YOU FAGET BITCH!!!!!!!
