Matt: What is in this drink? Chris: Splurk! Dave: Pits! Hahaha. Oh man that was hilarious...I didn't write yesterday, ruining my streak of 5 days in a row, and combined with today's post it would have been the first time I ever wrote every day for a week. Not this time though, maybe the next. Yesterday was pretty cool, but we(we = me, Zac, Mike, Chris, and Alan) didn't do much, and if we did I forgot.
All I remember is we went to Hurst pretty late, around 5 I guess, and nobody was there. We went there with only a football because our basketball was flat, so were hoping the Hursties would be there with a ball, but they weren't. When we got there and noticed that there was nobody was there we just decided to stay and play football. I think it was an awesome decision. I had a lot of fun playing football, I haven't done it in forever. The teams were me and Chris vs all and we beat them, of course. I was QB throwin the passes of perfection and runnin it like a madman at will, and Chris was the reciever and mossed all over everyone. The second game it was Chris and I vs Alan and Mike. They actually put up more of a fight without Zac, so that was cool. Third me and Chris played everyone again, we scored once then Zac quit so we just stopped playing.
I think everyone had fun, except for Zac(he's more of a soccer dude) and maybe Mike. I only wish we had some better competition, or at least one more player so we could play 3 on 3, that would make it more interesting for sure. Last night we played Magic(:The Gathering) until like 3 in the morning, and we've been playing all day up until this time(me and Alan anyways), I had a blast. It was fun to play that again. It rekindled my love for the game and it has me thinking about it even now.
I made some trades with Alan and improved my deck significantly, it is pretty damn good now, and it was already kick-ass before. And all you bitches at the cardshop are goin down one of these days, i'm gonna compete in a tournament, and i'm gonna kick allllllll yo asses!! Just to clear something up for you suckas who think we're dorks for playing Magic. We are not dorks.
It's that simple. We used to go to the cardshop in sixth grade(I think it was, maybe seventh and eigth a little bit), and even then we could tell everyone there was dorks. We didn't fit in because we weren't dorky enough for them, we weren't one of the regulars. So the whole time we've played Magic we've just kind of laughed at the dorky types who play and dominate them, all while avoiding the negative stigmatism of being called dorks.
If you still think we are then you can bite my dong because that is not the case. I know this was kind of short and sucky today, but you can't expect too much on Super Bowl Sunday. Right now i'm gonna get in the shower, eat a shitload of food, and get ready to watch the game. I cannot wait for this one, it's gonna be awesome!
