I couldn't decide whether I should write or not today because I didn't think anything really happened that was worth mentioning, but then I remembered some stuff, so it should be all right. So if this sucks, don't bother telling me, I already know. Today was a pretty normal school day, academic wise. Physics was cool, had to do some work, but I didn't mind. The Navy came into Computers today (but I already saw them in another class). It was alright, I always like to hear what they have to say, and besides I got the day off, so who am I to complain? History was fun as always, because Mr. Eddy is the man. I always seem to favor the History teachers the most for some reason, maybe I just like History...
Math was actually ok today, because my teacher was giving people candy to perform their special talents in front of the class. Two things stood out from the crowd. This black kid Marquis (stereotypical black person name by the way) can kick himself in the back of the head, he's showed us before, but this time there was a twist. Today he kicked himself in the head as usual, but upon contact he screamed like a girl. It was crazy because whenever you bend your head/ neck back its hard to make a high pitched sound, so he kept trying forever and my teacher kept telling him to do it over and over until he got it right. His voice was cracking and he made a bunch of odd screeching sounds And if you've never seen someone kick thereself in the back of the head and scream like a girl, let me tell ya, its quite a site to see.
Then this kid Nick (the skinniest kid in the world, seriously) did some messed up contortionist crap. He connected his hands behind his back, and with some quick, jerky, squirmy, and flat out nasty movements he brought his hands, still connected, over his shoulders and then straightened his arms out again (they were in some crazy tangled up knot). Throughout the whole performance everyone in the class was like "ewwww", "ahhh" and "what the fu*k!". Then some other kid did it, and he was all happy, but nobody cared because Nick's looked much much weirder.
Oh man during lunch we were talking about some of the craziest sh*t ever, it was one of the craziest conversations (it was more of a debate but eh) we've had in a long time. So crazy in fact, that I wont reveal the subject matter due to fear of getting my Journal deleted off the server for innapropriate content. Let's just say it involved Lance Armstrong, Hulk Hogan, A 30x30 foot room whose floor was littered with bars of soap, a big nasty disease ridden fat guy, and the 10 hottest girls in the world. I started reading War of the Worlds today. I didn't get very far, but it has got to be the most boring book of all time! It might be because i'm at the beginning , but I had a hard time bringing myself to read it, and even more trouble sitting through every single freaking page!
I think its because of the journalistic, first person nature of the narrative. This style leaves no room for humor, there hasn't been even one attempt at a joke yet. It sucks enough without grammatical and spelling errors, but not to worry, it has plenty of those too. For anyone who thinks H.G. Wells is such a great author, you can suck it, because he can't write for sh*t. This book makes simple things like walking around school, seem interesting and fun in comparison to reading it.
That is the only reason I would reccomend this book, otherwise stear clear of War of the Worlds! Woohoo I finally made my Ataris cd. I've wanted to make it for a couple weeks, but I never got around to it because I was busy, busy wiggin. And get this: I fit 31(! ) songs onto the cd! Isnt that crazy? well it's crazy if you know anything about cd burners and how much cds hold. That's the most i've heard of, not counting skits and stuff. I have a cd with 22 and I thought that was a lot, and I have another with 26, but 31, wow. I thought I would have to cut out some songs because I had too many, but I ended up adding 3 extra songs at the end...yessiree, pretty cool stuff . That's pretty much all for today, well actually there's more, but I think I've bored you enough for one day.
