Here we go again...you've heard this all before, I know, but here's my take on the whole new years speech-- Another year has passed by and left us all high and dry. Another New Years Eve spent sitting at home, watching the big ball drop in New York City. The past year has been one with ups and downs, just like any other one. Justin moved to Pennsylvania, Chris moved to Shadow Lakes, Louie got his car, me and Zac became bestest friends, me and Jesseca became bestest lovers.
There was a new Star Wars, a new Lord of the Rings, and a new Harry Potter, of all things. At the beginning of the year we were in 9th grade, now we're in 10th, it's all going by so fast. So many things happened this past year, good and bad, happy and sad, some that were great and some that weren't really worth the wait, some things that I hate, some things that I won't remember, and some things that I'll never forget. So much mischief was in the air, so much fun we had, I had my friends and family to spend it with, and for that I'm glad. Goodbye 2002, I had fun, it was rad. I know there was some inconsistencies in that little "poem"(I guess you could call it that), but you'll have to excuse me since I whipped it up rather quickly.
Not bad though.... LOL, rad. I was trying not to buy into the hype this year, but what the heck, HAPPY NEW YEAR! On a side note, I've never written two journal entries in one day before, and I won't do it very much in the future, so how's that for doing something special for the occasion?
