A Magic Crystal Ball On one of my numerous blog-stalking excursions I came across this novel suggestion - what if someone could show you your future? Would you want to see it? This got me to thinking - say there was a video floating around out there called "Ang's Life", and it was a complete video, would I want to see that parts I haven't already seen? There are some very good reasons for wanting too . . . avoiding bad decisions, catastrophic events, and the like. Basically you would know in advance where all the bad parts are and you could fix them. But I would have to say that I'd decline. Where's the fun in living when you already know the outcome? What makes life so unique and interesting is not knowing what's going to happen, and part of the fun is thinking that anything can happen. Good or bad. You always hope it's good, but the key ingredient is not knowing. Would you want to see your future if you could?
