My DSL crapped out at about 7pm last night, and hasn't come back yet. That burns my muffins, I tell you what, because it's just annoying.
If it's still out when I get back from class this afternoon, I'll have to make a call, and I absolutely abhore doing that, because they rarely help the situation. Not that there are too many people I talk to over IM anymore, but just in case anybody wonders (I know you don't). Happy October! My how time flies when the Earth continues to revolve around the Sun. It has been a hectic month, to say the least, but I realized this morning that I've been waking up in a good mood for about 2 weeks straight now.
That's pretty rare for me, especially since most of those days I have to go to class or the library or some otherwise unpleasant place. But things are looking up, in general. Except in the area of Netflix, where I continue to doggedly hold on to the 3 movies I currently have out. I've only watched one of them (Two Towers), but I have seen one of the other two before (Thin Red Line, when it came out). I really need to bite the bullet and send a couple back, so that I can dislodge myself and start watching movies again.
But then, things like the season premiere of Angel (tonight! ) always get in the way. Tomorrow is dinner at a friend's, and Friday... well actually Friday is probably wide open. Sadly. I'm also enjoying this October weather, because while the hot sunny San Diego is great, it's not often we mix it up around here, so the upcoming (as far as the weatherman says) "gloom" will be a nice start to autumn. Note: anybody who constantly feels "cold" all the time should probably consider changing locales to, say, sunny California. Or sunny Arizona. :-p Oh, and I'm leaving law school to follow urlLink this guy around the country. To the Big Rock Candy Mountain!
