Grades! Hmmm. How to put this exactly... I will still be in law school next year! I won't get into details but I did pretty much average. I did not do as well this semester as I did last semester, and I'm not really sure why that is, but I did not do horribly. I believe the operative term is "nothing to write home about". :) Last night I went to the gym with Jaime and Cindy, and pretty much got over my hatred of gyms and such. I realized that the reason I avoided gyms was primarily based on experience in college with the college gyms, and none of those experiences translate to commercial gyms like 24 Hour Fitness (a west coast gym chain). So, with that in mind, I may just go join up next week, especially if I can lie and get on Jaime's membership as her brother.
It's not really lying because that's what the gym guy was going for. I had to shoot him down (because today I am poor and I like to think about this stuff) but we'll see. I think also that since I'm pretty tight with money these days (well, compared to when I was working) paying for a gym membership would push me to go more often.
As would the fact that if one other person is there, I can still use the machine (currently not the case with our low-rent, apartment-provided weight "room"). Right! Also bought books and scammed a better parking pass for the summer. Classes start early, early, early Tuesday morning. Today: Staples! Must repair stupid home phone. The battery now lasts approx. 10 minutes per phone call. wtf? It's weird when your cell phone battery lasts 2 hours, and my home phone battery lasts 45 seconds. Black is white! Night is day!
