Tuesday Afternoon The nicest part about Tuesday is knowing that, by lunchtime, I only have 3 classes left for the entire week. The worst part is having to get up at 8am to go to one of them. Yesterday I cornered my IP professor and got her to be my faculty advisor for Law Review. That's nice, because I'm hoping to write something in that arena, and some people haven't had the chance to get an advisor who specializes in the area they wish to write about. The next part, however, is much harder. I've got to find a topic, a very specific topic, that is current but not decided.
Even that makes it sound easier than it actually is - fortunately I have until Monday for a first pick. I'm still having trouble really gearing up for school (note especially that school has been going for 3 weeks now), but I'm far less distracted by other parts of my life right now so that's a good thing. I'm enjoying the drama that other people take part in, without having to be involved myself. It's like watching a play!
RIP urlLink Warren Zevon . Underappreciated genius, says me. Well, maybe he was appreciated, but not by the general public, who only knew about Werewolves and not the rest of his work. And lest ye think I've forgotten, football season started with a bang! At least in my book - any Sunday where the Lions (yes, the Lions) score the urlLink second-most points of any other team (San Francisco clobbered the Bears with 49) is huge.
Even against the Cardinals. It's too soon (and they are too weak an opponent) to make any long term predictions, but if Harrington and the rookie keep playing that well, it may be a good season after all! The Houson/Miami game is a good example of why sports betting is truly a sucker's endeavor. Stick to craps or roulette! I miss not having any fantasy team this year, but I forgot all about it and my urlLink usual connection didn't remind me. Slacker!
