Three down, one to go. Finals are like Chinese Water Torture, I tell you whut. From now until 1:30 Wednesday, I'm all about Contracts Contracts Contracts. So if you have a contract send it to me and I'll tell you what the deal is. :) That reminds me, urlLink U.S. News & World Report released their new "rankings" and I'm proud to say that USD is in the urlLink Top 100! This doesn't mean that much because rankings are a bunch of hooey anyhow, and this is the first year they've dismantled the 2nd Tier (USD's previous home), but I was still glad to see USD higher than my alternative prospect, Rutgers.
Take that, New Jersey! :) urlLink Adam posed an interesting question in his blog today: which Democrat (if any) should I back in 2004? Lord knows I don't have any confidence in the Dems to knock Dubya out of office, but I always vote and thus must choose SOMEbody to be the sacrificial lamb. My vote, however, is not with Lieberman, primarily because of the massive stick he has up his ass concerning censorship and violent video games. It's scarier than people think, not only does he lean in the direction of banning violent video games, he was a huge proponent of doing so back when it was the "in thing to do" (i.e.
post-Columbine, pre-GTA3 hysteria). Lots of people in the game industry hate him with a passion because of his nonsensical views, and he has made video and computer games a scapegoat for problems that are rooted in parenting, not entertainment. That being said, I sort of like one of the Johns (Kerry or Edwards) and would totally love Howard Dean if I thought he had a snowball's chance in hell. Alas, he doesn't, and the rest of them are sort of milquetoasty (like always). Maybe I'll run... wait you have to be 35. Damn.
