Since the day I bought my R6 I have wanted an alarm system for it. After having some beast of a bitch back over it and drive away I have gone out and got me one. Mark installed it a few days ago and it is great! I have a standard alarm plus a perimeter sensor and a paging system. This way, alarm goes off, I get paged, I catch the beast who is so stupid as to touch my machine. I figure what's the fun in preventing the theft or damage of your bike if you can't beat the living hell out of the fool. After much research I decided on the Scorpio alarm system made by Aritronix http://www.aritronix.com/cyl200order.htm .
Next step is all the carbon fiber bits I have wanted for so long. If you are feeling generous you can get me a gift certificate for this site http://www.tricktape.com/subcat.asp?0=325 and help me make my machine look just like the vision I have for it. Remember kids, Christmas is coming and my birthday will be right after that. Nothing says love like carbon fiber bits for my bike.
I broke my no sticker rule for my bike recently as well. I just couldn't help myself. When I saw it I knew that was her. The personality that I have in my vision of my bike. I will post pictures soon. It is a great shot of Bettie Page in a red leather outfit. She was a beautiful and controversial model in the 1940's and 1950's. http://www.bettiepage.com/about/bio.html If you are looking for gift idea's for Christmas and birthday you can't go wrong with an http://www.amazon.com gift certificate or http://www.aerostich.com/riderwearhouse.store gift certificate or http://tinyurl.com/w9tw from QVC.
I had the foodsaver one and it stunk. Stupid thing worked great first 3 months I had it. I even sent it in for repairs. I finally gave in and sent it to the landfill. I have a lot more faith in the Cook's Essentials products. Last but not least. Shoulder update. Feeling pretty good so far.
